3 Days Fez Sahara Tour

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Todra Gorge.

We will pick you up from your riad/hotel in Fez at 08:00 AM.

Then you leaven Fez towards Todra Gorges, passing through Ifrane known as switzerland of Morocco,

built by the French in the 1930’s with Swiss village style,

We continue crossing the middle atlas and cedar forest near Azrou, we stop near Azrou to see the barbary apes or ride a horse.

Afterwards you continue through many berber villages to arrive to Midelt where you will stop for Lunch.

We continue the way through the Atlas Mountains, enjoying the landscapes and the scenic road,

we arrive to famous town of Imilchil known in Morocco for its traditional Berber weddings. It’s a traditional village of very humble Berber dwellings.

There you can enjoy breathtaking views of mountains and fertile valleys.

We reach Todra Gorges in the time of the sunset, dinner and overnight in a nice Hotel between the mountains, rivers and the valley .

Day 2: Todra Gorges – Risani – Merzouga.

After breakfast you will have to time, to take a short walk in Todra gorge befeore we depart to Merzouga, through Amellago gorge an authentic valley.

This journey passes through many small Berber villages,

giving you an unique look into the daily lives of the berber people in this region. Continue to Rissani through Guelmima, Touroug and Erfoud , when we leave rissani to Merzouga we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan desert we reach Merzouga before the sunset, Depending on your arrived to traditional Kasbah on the foot of the Dunes of Erg-Chebbi.

After rest a mint tea the guide and camels,

will be waiting to carry you across the sandy Dunes of the Erg-Chebbi, you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on the dunes, you will reach to the desert camp to spend night in a berbre tent. After a traditional dinner, there will be a camp fire and Berber music.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Fez.

Early weak up to watch the sunrise on the high dune, you will ride camel back to the hotel for breakfast, shower and a Rest before we continue our tour back to fes.

Through ziz valley, berber villages, middle atlas the middle atlas,

we will arrive to Fes in the afternoon, end of our service.

The local team of this camp where the nicest people we had meet in Morocco, the trip in desert for two nights by riding the camel over sand dunes, was an experience to do for a nice holiday, the camp for is well organized nothing was missing, berber food is very original of nomadic type,

Visit the desert with our children by comfortable 4x4 to share with them the life of the people here,done nice from nice guide Rachid,If you want a short trip in Merzouga area which can be done in 2 hours here is the one to do,our trip was quiet nice relax which nice views over mountains and sand dunes,african music with tea!
